Why You Should Join AHIM

If you’re like us, you enjoy life in Melrose and want to continue living here as you get older. But, certain tasks become more challenging as we grow older. For some, the challenge may be finding a group of like-minded people with whom to enjoy a night at the symphony or an evening at the ballpark. Others may experience difficulty hiring a reliable contractor to repair a cabinet. Still others may need some help with snow removal or grocery shopping.

Some people may not need the help that AHIM will offer just yet. Instead, they look at AHIM and its range of services as a type of insurance for the day when they do need assistance.

Just remember that no matter your need, AHIM will  find the solution. Our dedicated staff will be ready to help you with anything you need. Perhaps you can think of AHIM as a concierge service—we won’t do the tasks ourselves, but we’ll arrange and coordinate volunteer and vendor efforts so that you get what you want. One call. Problem solved

Sounds good, you think. But what will it cost?  The membership cost is $650 per year for an individual or $850 per year for a household. Those fees will provide access to the AHIM staff, the concierge service, and our list of carefully screened providers. Members  will also benefit from discounts offered by select providers, restaurants, and retailers.

We plan to begin offering services in March 2010. Make a $50 deposit before January 1, 2010 and you’ll receive a $100 discount off your annual membership fee.  Download and complete the AHIM membership application, make out your check to At Home In Melrose and send application and check to the address on the application.  For more information, call us at 781-662-4100.
